Mikhail Murashev, Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), in 1839 or 1840 and published by the Russian Hydrographic Dept. in 1849 on Chart 1425 as ""Zaliv Yukuk."" This name may be from the word ""Uxcuq"" which means ""puffin"" according to R. H. Geoghegan." |
