It was first reported by Captain Tebenkov (1852, map 38), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), as ""Ozerskoy Redut,"" meaning ""redoubt lake."" It is the site of an abandoned Russian fishery and flour mill (Colby, 1945, p. 175)." |
