History: | Descriptive name given by US@C&GS in 1908 and published in the 1908 Alaska Coast Pilot (p. 169). So named because it is near the junction of Lisianski with Lisianski Strait. The local name was Bill Island, named for superintendent of the Dundas Bay Company in 1908. |
