Putnam (1903, p. 015), U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), gives the Aleut name as ""Kimilogchilogh"" meaning ""living place in autumn,"" so called because there was formerly a barabara or native house here, where some natives lived during the season for fox-trapping.""" |
