History: | Reported in 1950 by D. M. Hopkins, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). So named by a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) field party in 1948 because the name appears in the official station description of Coast and Geodetic Survey. Bench Mark 'Kuzitrin,' 2 miles north of the lake. The lake was used by a few commercial pilots and is the source of the Kuzitrin River. |
