This lake was called ""Oz(ero) Nizhniye"" by Captain Tebenkov (1852, map 23). Baker (1906, p. 415) published ""Lower Lake,"" the translation of Captain Tebenkov's name, for this feature. Because of duplication, the name was changed to its present form abou t 1909." |
